Meek isn’t having a great day here, but at least she got the fiend off of her.

A new episode of Telltale’s “The Wolf Among Us” came out today for PS3 and PC.  If you’ve heard me talk for more than 10 minutes at a time, you’ve probably heard how much I love what Telltale Games is doing right now with their story-driven projects lately (see also: “The Walking Dead”).  The direction they’ve been going feels like a Western version of a concept that never really took off with English-speaking audiences; the visual novel.  Granted, this is a more cinematic take than your “9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors” or “Phoenix Wright,” but the heavy focus on story is a refreshing thing in video games, and the subject matter (in this case based on the “Fables” series from Vertigo comics) is really interesting.  If you’re the kind of person who says they want to see more story in your games, I’d definitely recommend looking into what Telltale’s doing–this new episode is as solid as any of the other things they’ve done, and they seem to pick up more and more ways to get the player into it as they go along.  Check it out–if people don’t support this kind of thing, it might not make it, and then what will I talk about down here?
