If any of you have ever played Metal Slug, you probably recognize the design of the Contra Brothers.

I’ve been playing Infamous: Second Son lately, and I’m really enjoying it.  The elements that define your powers in this game are pretty slick-looking in action, and when you really get things going, it really feels like you can cause some serious damage.  The story’s fairly boilerplate so far, just getting you from point A to point B so that you can blast some more stuff, but it seems true to the comic book aesthetic that they’re going for.  The moral choices still seem a bit obvious, but any game that has a karma meter that determines what abilities you get to use will seem pretty transparent like that, I guess.  In short, it’s a lot like the previous Infamous games–not especially groundbreaking, but fun to play, and quite frankly, if you own a PS4, there’s no reason you shouldn’t have this already, since this is pretty much the first major console exclusive for Sony that has any real heat behind it.  I’d recommend it if you have the means to play it.
