Zokusho: On The Job–page 11
How did Izzy Silvers appear, back from the grave apparently? We’ll find out soon.
Ohayocon was our best con so far! We sold a lot of books, handed out a lot of fliers, and did a lot of commissions (if you want to see them, check out our tumblr). Overall, we made double the amount that we did at last year’s Ohayocon, so I’d like to think that we’ve leveled up. We also got to have a nice dinner with some of the other webcomickers after Saturday night and swap crazy con stories. I can only hope that this is a sign of things to come in future cons. We’ve got some stuff lined up–next is the Lexington Comic and Toy Convention, so if you guys are in or near Lexington, KY on March 14-16, you can come by and buy a book or get a commission from the Franklins!
This seems straightforward. All of the items which needed delivering had an unfulfilled purpose. That already sounds like a ghost. So if Meek is delivering these items according to the will of their deceased owners, it is quite likely the previous owner is able to communicate to the new one through the item. We already learned that magic items gain magic from being used, so the legendary guitar of Izzy Silvers is obviously magical already. The step to ghost-possession is a small one, and could have been facilitated by Meek’s employer or Meek using some illusion or summoning item.
